A Few Words That Describe Toastmasters

Professionally and Personally Rewarding

Conquer your fear of public speaking

If you’ve ever watched someone’s idea get the go-ahead because they stood up and spoke instead of you, shied away from saying a few words at a wedding or event due to fear of speaking, or live in terror of a business presentation then you know how limiting the fear of public speaking can be. Over 90% of the people that join Toastmasters do so because they are afraid of public speaking.  If fear is holding you back please understand that it doesn’t have to be that way.

Takes You From Good to Great

Toastmasters sharpens your skills and takes you to the next level

Whether you are a novice or an experienced pro you have a unique abilities. The goal of Toastmasters is to take those skills and elevate them to the highest possible level. There is no formulaic approach here, rather the objective is to let your personality shine through and to take your public speaking skills from good to great.

Flexible, Casual, Down to Earth

Build a valuable skill and have fun along the way

Toastmasters is not a class, there are no instructors and by nature it is a fun relaxed environment. We take a learn by doing approach where people give speeches and get feedback from the group in an organized, constructive manner. Members work hard to become better and fast friendships often build over time.
